Western skeet traps were the first automatic trap machines. They gave economical push button operation, with maximum savings in operating costs by permitting one-man skeet field operation without the need of a trap boy in each house.

Simple adjustments prevent time-consuming maintenance.  Elevation and range settings made by hand. The only tools needed are a screw driver and wrench.  They operate on 115 v ac 60 HZ or through an inverter to 12 v DC.  Each trap holds 75 targets giving each squad a surplus of 25 targets.
